Information on Outings for this season
ANYONE (that means YOU) can organize an event, you don't need to be an expert! Just email Patty Williams at pwilliamsvt@myfairpoint.net and she will forward the information to club members.
Details for each event (time, meeting place) are determined by the contact person and published as the event draws near.
If anyone would like to lead trips on the days not taken, they can call Russ Kinaman at 879-6666. Suggestions are Morse Farm, Ole's, Bolton, Catamount Trail, or again to those already listed. FYI -Tim Parsons and Russ would like to sponsor a weekend trip to the Adirondack Mt. Club's Adirondack Loj on March 13 and 14. If there is interest, Russ will cancel Rikert.
The Catamount Trail Association maintains the Catamount Trail and sponsors back country trips every weekend. Get their full schedule and info at http://www.catamounttrail.org/.
Catamount Trail members have a booklet with many half price and two for one coupons.
The Green Mountain Club maintains the Long Trail and sponsors hikes year round as well as snowshoe outings and some cross country trips. Get their Burlington Section schedule and info http://www.gmcburlington.org/.
